The National Cyber Resilience Centre Group (NCRCG) are proud to announce that the inaugural meeting of the Ambassador Steering Group took place last week, Wednesday 6th of April.
The Steering Group was set up to be utilised as a vital platform for dialogue between policing, government, business and academia, with the shared ambition of ensuring the UK economy is as strong as possible to stand up to the threat of cyber-crime.
Our CEO, Nick Bell, praised the gathering, stating: “Earlier this week, we held the inaugural NCRCG Steering Group meeting, bringing together our eight Founding Ambassadors from some of the UK’s leading organisations for the very first time. The ambition and desire to stand up to the threat of cyber crime was clear to see. The Steering Group has been set up to be a vital platform for dialogue between policing, government, the business community and academia. We are all very much looking forward to working together and helping to ensure that we can make the UK economy as strong as it can be against cyber crime.”
Steering Group Members consist of a variety of different individuals that have experience in diverse backgrounds, but all possess the same passion in improving cyber resilience in the UK. As the first of many Steering Group meetings, we’re looking forward to the progress that will follow from the inputs of such a talented group.
